We’re changing the way we calculate our Powertickets to align all our venues across New Zealand. We hear you, you want to read this on the ‘Easy Level’.
To do so we'll have to close up shop a bit early, so on Monday 10 May we'll be closing at 6pm.
Basically, we’re doubling Powerticket prices in Redemption, doubling Powerticket balances on your existing Powercard, doubling the number of Powertickets won on our games.

We still want you to win that plushie you’ve been saving up for and therefore be informed of changes you might notice in our venues. We have put together some frequently asked questions about the Powerticket change. If you have any further questions, ask our team in venue or call us on 0800 467043.
Q: What does this mean for your local venue?
A: Your same brightly lit favourite destination to take the kids, go on a date, settle that dispute and just escape will still be there for you. The only thing changing is how we calculate Powertickets.
Q: Why are you changing how you calculate Powertickets?
A: We’re aligning all our TIMEZONE venues pricing and prizes. Now we can ensure we give each and every Guest the same experience right across New Zealand.
Q: What happens to my Powerticket balance on my Powercard?
A: It doubles! If you had 1,000 Powertickets, it will be 2,000 Powertickets. If you have 1 Powerticket, it will be 2 Powertickets!
Q: How do you know if my Powerticket balances has updated?
A: Our amazing systems administrator, who we keep in a dark locked room, will run a script that will automatically double your Powerticket balance while you are counting whack-a-crocs and fall into a dream about stealing Mario from Princess Peach while riding on the back of Donkey Kong’s kart and trying to avoid the green shells being thrown at you. We will also have record that the script was successful on the history of your Powercard!
Q: Have the actual prices for packages changed?
A: No. No. The prices for our timed play packages and load up bonuses remain the same. You will however receive the double amount of pre-loaded Powertickets for our timed play packages. i.e. get 100 pre-loaded Powertickets becomes 200 pre-loaded Powertickets. The same goes for the tickets included in our birthday party packages.
Q: I was saving up for that Mario plushie, now he’s twice the number of Powertickets!
A: Yes. Yes. He is. But we have also doubled the number of Powertickets on your Powercard and doubled the number of Powertickets you win!
Q: Can I use my balances at other TIMEZONE venues?
A: Yes you can!
