FAQs

1. Is there an age limit for participation?

Answer: There is no age restriction to enter. Minors require the consent of a legal representative (parent/guardian) to participate.

2. Do minors require a guardian?

Answer: Minors selected as preliminary representatives require the signature of their legal representative (parent/guardian) on a consent form in order to advance. It is requested that minors bring their legal representative (parent/guardian) with them on the day of the tournament if possible.

3. Can I participate in the Preliminary Contests any number of times?

Answer: Participants may submit entries to multiple Preliminary Contests. However, participants chosen to advance past the Preliminary Contests even once may no longer participate in the preliminaries at another venue. (One participant cannot become the representative for multiple arcades.)
If a participant chosen to be a Preliminary Contests representative voluntarily withdraws their qualification, they may not participate in preliminaries held at other venues at a later date. If they are found to have participated in other preliminaries in violation of this rule, they will be disqualified.

4. I was selected as Preliminary Contests representative, but I can no longer participate in the competition. Can my friend participate in my place?

Answer: Only those who have submitted an entry to the tournament may participate. If a participant is found to have played in the tournament in another person's place, they will both be disqualified.

5. What should I do if I forget my Bandai Namco Passport?

Answer: Purchase a new Bandai Namco Passport and register it with the same Donder Name at all stages of the tournament. These are available to purchase at participating Timezone venues.
