Our Regional Tournament has crossed the finish line!

Thank you to all the talented drivers who participated in the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6RR Tournament. The fastest racers in each country will compete in the Championship in Japan. What is the format of the tournament?​

Participants will be divided into groups of four to compete. This grouping will be determined by our venue team. The winner from each group will advance to compete again in groups of four until a champion is determined from each venue. The champions from each venue will then come together on a different day for the regional tournament, competing in the same format. The top two winners from the regional tournament will win an exciting trip to Japan!

Is there an age limit to participate in the tournament?

This Tournament is open to Australian residents aged 16 years and above.

How do I register for the tournament?​

Participants must register at any of our participating venues on the day of the Preliminary Contest.

How many participants can compete in the tournament at each venue?​

Each venue can accommodate a maximum of 32 participants. This ensures that everyone has a fair chance to compete and enjoy the experience.

What happens if I can't make it on the tournament day?

If you are unable to attend the tournament on the scheduled date, you will be disqualified from the event. It is important to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time to register.

What if I am on the waiting list?​

Players on the waiting list must also be present at the venue on tournament day. If there are any no-shows, the next person on the waiting list will be given the opportunity to participate.

Will there be any age categories or divisions in the tournament?​

No, there will not be any age categories or divisions in the tournament. All participants will compete together on a track that will be announced on tournament day. 

Will there be teams in the tournament?​

No, the tournament is an individual competition. Each participant will compete on their own, showcasing their skills against other players.

Will there be prizes for the winners?

Yes! Prizes will be awarded to the top performers in the tournament, including a trip to Japan for the top two winners from the regional tournament. Additionally, every participant will receive a gift, regardless of whether they win the championship.

What safety measures are in place during the tournament?​

We prioritize the safety of all participants. Our venues follow strict safety protocols. Participants must also follow all instructions from our venue team. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. We do not tolerate any unruly behaviour, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
