2. Old Town

Aside from the National Museum, Kota Tua offers an informative family tourist destination! Kota Tua, established in the 17th century, served as the VOC's headquarters as well as the center of many commerce, political, and military operations. You can walk around the Kota Tua area and see the structures with a strong Dutch architectural style by renting a bicycle from local merchants. You can also visit the Jakarta History Museum, which is housed in the historic Batavia City Hall. The museum depicts the history of Jakarta from pre-colonial times to the present.

Next, visit the Wayang Museum, which houses an extensive collection of shadow puppets and puppets. There is also the Museum of Fine Arts and Pottery, which displays a wide range of Indonesian fine art and pottery. After visiting the museums, there is Café Batavia, a colonial-era structure that provides a dining experience with a nostalgic environment that invites tourists to remember the Old Town's history. The Old Town area is not just a historical site, but also a thriving cultural hub, making it a must-see location in Jakarta.

Are you interested in visiting Kota Tua? This tourist attraction in West Jakarta does not require an entrance fee and has lengthy hours, from dawn to night. However, it is best to arrive in the morning or afternoon when the sun is not as scorching.

3. Timezone

Timezone is a well-known family entertainment complex in Indonesia, having opened in 1995. Timezone has around 70 stores in Indonesia. In Jakarta alone, there are over 20 Timezone establishments dispersed throughout major commercial malls and entertainment venues. All of them provide a wide range of games and attractions suitable for people of all ages. Arcade games, Social Bowling, Bumper Cars, Laser Tag, virtual reality games, and redemption ticket activities can all be traded for a range of exciting rewards. In addition, the Timezone photo box allows you to capture happy moments with your closest friends and family.

Are you wondering what game to play when you arrive at Timezone? You can begin with the three most popular games: Social Bowling, Bumper Cars, and Laser Tag. So, how to play the games?

In Social Bowling, you must roll the ball and knock down as many pins as possible to score high. So, each player has two chances to knock down all of the pins in each frame. Once you've completed it, your friends or family members will repeat the process until everyone has had their time.

Aside from being suitable for all ages, Social Bowling can bring you closer to your family. How? For example, while you wait your turn, you can talk and joke with one another. Bowling also encourages collaboration and support for one another, especially when others cheer and praise after someone strikes. So, this time has the potential to deepen your connection and create wonderful memories together.

When playing Bumper Cars, you must drive your automobile safely into other players' cars. At the same time, you must avoid other cars. Oh, and because each car is controlled by two individuals, this game requires a high level of collaboration from each driver. It's also a terrific way to compete in a healthy way, which may help to improve connections and create lasting memories with your family.

Finally, if you enjoy shooting activities with family and friends, you can play Laser Tag. After dividing the group members, you will be given a special vest and an infrared laser rifle. Then, when the game begins, you must evade and hide from the enemy squad, which might fire you from anywhere at any time. However, you can also shoot your gun at your opponent's vest to remove them from the arena. The squad that has the most remaining members wins.

This game is ideal for strengthening family bonds because it requires communication and collaboration to succeed. Furthermore, the thrill of hiding, chasing, and shooting in an exciting arena will provide an exhilarating experience. As a result, family activities become more enjoyable and meaningful!

Simply visit one of the nearby branches for a full day's worth of games. Bring your entire family to Timezone today!
