Join us for an exciting musical showdown at the Timezone Rhythm Battle: maimai Tournament 2025! Test your skills, compete for fantastic prizes, and showcase your rhythm talent across multiple venues.

Registration

Details:

  • Dates: June 2 – June 12, 2025
  • Venues: Orchard, Westgate, North Point, Pasir Ris Mall
  • Fee: $10 (Get $10 game credits)

Exclusive Offer: Be among the first 50 sign-ups across all venues to receive a pair of exclusive maimai black gloves.
Note: Collection of maimai gloves will be at the Finals at Orchard Xchange on June 21, 2025.

Important:
Participants must register at the same venue where they will compete in the qualifiers. Registration completed at any of the four venues is only valid for that specific location's qualifier.

Qualifier

Details:

  • Date: June 14, 2025
  • Time: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Venues: Orchard, Westgate, North Point, Pasir Ris Mall
  • Songs: Silent Blue (EXPERT), 前前前世 (MASTER), 残響散歌 (MASTER)

How it works:

Players will compete in an Accuracy Score format. Each participant will play a fixed set of three songs, and their scores will be based on their accuracy. Players are ranked by lowest Accuracy Score (E.g. Player A with 8 acc score beats out Player B with 9 acc score).

Calculation:
Great + Good*2 + Miss*2 = Accuracy Score


Top 16 players
from all four venues combined will advance to the Finals. In the event where a Top 16 participant is unable/fails to attend the Finals Day, the next highest ranked player will be invited as replacement.

The Top 16 players from the qualifier leaderboards have successfully qualified for the Finals of the Rhythm Battle - maimai Tournament!

🗓 Finals Date: 21 June 2025
🕐 Time: 12:30 PM (Registration)
📍 Venue: Timezone Orchard Xchange

Players ranked 1 to 16 are required to report at the venue by 12:30 PM sharp for tournament check-in.

⚠️ Important Notice:
If any of the Top 16 players do not show up by 1:00 PM, their spot will be given to the next highest ranked player from positions 17 to 24, based on the final qualifier rankings. Please ensure you're present and ready to compete!

Format:

The Finals will feature a Single & Double Elimination format, with battles taking place in 1v1 or 1v1v1v1 formats, adding to the excitement and intensity!

  • 1st Place: DIVOOM SPARK-AIR Bluetooth Earphone, $100 Game Credits, Trophy & Certificate
  • 2nd Place: DIVOOM Beetles Bluetooth Speaker, $60 Game Credits & Certificate

Finals Day:

- The Top 16 players from Qualifiers will advance to Finals Day on 21 June, 1PM at Timezone Orchard Xchange

- Players will be split into 4 groups based on their placement:
-- Group A: #1, #8, #9, #16
-- Group B: #2, #7, #10, #15
-- Group C: #3, #6, #11, #14
-- Group D: #4, #5, #12, #13

- Players will play 4 randomized songs from a song level pool and will be scored with the Acc score system

  • Songs will be randomized by the Referee via a preset randomizer before the match begins

 

- The Finals Day format is as follows:

- The Top 2 players of each match will advance to the next round

- In matches E, F, H and J, the bottom 2 players will drop to the (Losers) bracket matches.

- For the 3rd Place Playoff & Finals, both players will pick 1 song each (14.0~14.7), which will then be followed by 2 randomized songs.

Tiebreakers will be used if more than 1 player has the same Acc score:
1. Acc score
2. Achievement%
3. Deluxe score
4. 1 song shoot-out

Terms and Condition of 'MAIMAI Tournament'

  • Gameplay and Fees
    • This tournament is not sponsored. All participants are required to use their own game credits to take part in the qualifiers.
  • Gift Collection
    • Free gifts must be collected in person at Orchard Xchange on 21 June 2025. No delivery or proxy collection will be entertained.
  • Registration and Qualifier Rules
    • Participants must register at the same venue where they intend to compete in the qualifiers.
    • Registration completed at any of the four designated venues is only valid for that specific location’s qualifier.
    • Participants must not change their in-game name (IGN) or Aime card number throughout the Registration, Qualifier, and Finals period (if qualified).
  • Match and Disqualification Rules
    • Matches will be played as scheduled, even in the event of a disqualification.
    • In the event of a disqualification in a 1v1 match, the opposing player will win by default.
    • Grounds for disqualification include (but are not limited to):
    • Unruly or inappropriate behavior towards staff, other players, or the public
    • Physical abuse or intentional damage to the arcade machines
    • Failure to comply with tournament rules or staff instructions
  • Alteration of Game Format

    • The tournament organizing committee reserves the right to alter the game format or structure if there are insufficient participants to conduct the event as originally planned.

  • By participating, participants grant Timezone Singapore permission to use their names, photographs, videos, or likenesses for promotional, advertising, or publicity purposes without additional compensation, where permitted by law.
  • The tournament organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify players based on a case-by-case basis
  • In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Timezone's Management will be final.
